(fig. 2) This Bar chart shows us how much people liked the storyline of Money heist. It is shown that over 80% of people that participated in this survey liked the plot of money heist (so much so to rate it over a 7) This shows that part of the reason of why money heist was so successful is because of the the interesting storyline that seemed to keep people very interested and captivated with the show.

(fig. 3) This chart gives us more information as to what the viewers of the show liked most about the show. As we can see from this the overwhelming response is the narrative, as previously mentioned in fig. 2, we can now confirm that the narrative of the show played a big part in making money heist so recognized all over the world.  The second leading response is genre, the genre crime drama is very loved all over the world, this would explain why people also like the genre of the show a lot. The producers of the show take advantage of this as they have many genre icons in most of their posters. Fig. 4, 5, 6 and 8 are good examples of money heist using Boscombe's theory of iconography to make their genre clear and invite genre fans to watch. The other things that made the views want to keep on watching was the acting, of course this didn’t invite them to watch the show as no one knows what the acting will be like before watching the show, but since the level of acting was really good, it made the viewers want to keep on watching.

Fig. 10

(fig. 9) This bar chart shows us how people got to know about money heist. They are targeted using star appeal and genre conventions (as said above), although only 25 % of the people found out about the show through the genre, the producers still use genre icons on posters to attract said aficionados.  They are also targeted using uses and gratifications as this show is on Netflix so if one person watches the show and they tell another person to watch it, they will have easy access to the show as they probably have Netflix, allowing them to recommend the show to more people. This information supports fig. 10 as in fig. 10 we see that almost 80% of the people surveyed would go on to then recommend the show to others.

(fig. 11 and 12) As we can see from figs. 11 and 12 most people of the show did seem to want to continue to watch the show. This tells us that there are enigmas in the show and at the ends of the episode that keep us wanting to watch the show. The focus group can also support these claims as the individuals I interviewed said they wanted to keep on watching money heist because at the end of each episode there were enigmas or cliffhangers that didn’t want to make them stop.
